Karnak Festival Hall EG074966jhp Karnak Luxor Egyptian festival hall Thutmose Central area carved block near the most sacred part of this huge sprawling site located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and Karnak is the largest religious complex on the Nile. This photograph is of the unusual Festival Hall of Thutmose 111. The hall was constructed next to one of the oldest areas of Karnak Temple the open area, the Central Court, in front of this carved block with Tuthmose and Amun in embrace. This is a complex mix of columned hall, chapels, magazines which are not represented in these photos.
