Karnak Festival Hall EG074965jhp Karnak Temple Egypt festival hall Thutmosis tent pole peg columns near the most sacred part of this huge sprawling site located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and Karnak is the largest religious complex on the Nile. This photograph is of the unusual Festival Hall of Thutmose 111. The hall was constructed next to one of the oldest areas of Karnak Temple. This is a complex mix of columned hall, chapels, magazines which are not represented in these photos but illustrates one pf its notable oddities, the interesting tent-pole or peg coulmns and lloking back to the obelisks and hypostyle hall area of the Karnak site.
