Karnak Festival Hall EG074967jhp Karnak Egypt Festival Hall Thutmosis Amun embracing Central Court carved block near the most sacred part of this huge sprawling site located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and Karnak is the largest religious complex on the Nile. This photograph is from the unusual Festival Hall of Thutmose 111. The hall was constructed next to one of the oldest areas of Karnak Temple the open area, the Central Court, in front of this carved block with Tuthmose and Amun in embrace. This is a complex mix of columned hall, chapels, magazines which are not represented in these photos.
