Dendara Iseum Decoration eg985413 Dendara Temple detail netcher ancient Egyptian Isis birth Iseum photo is located north of Luxor and survives as one of the finest examples of the Late Period and the main buildings visited today date from fourth century BC in to the Roman period. It has a notable rare representation of the famous Cleopatra, some beautiful carvings and is relatively unscathed by the ravages of time, desecration and being dismantled for building materials. This photo is of reliefs on outside of the rear wall of the small temple of Isis with a freize of netcher figures, seated Gods and above a series of Hathor faces and atributed to the Emperor Augustus.
