Strichen Stone Circle Scotland TO197061JHP Aberdeenshire Prehistoric Strichen Recumbent Stone Circle Flankers Altar Stones is situated on a small Buchan Hill, NW of Peterhead off the Fraserburgh/New Deer road in northern Aberdeenshire in North East Scotland. Rebuilt in the early 1980's, to correct previous alterations, it is perhaps the best preserved example of this uniquely Grampian stone circle historical site dating from the early Bronze Age with its distinct altar stone and flankers. Aberdeenshire Prehistoric Strichen Recumbent Stone Circle Flankers Altar Stones is
