Caption: | Muir Dinnet moor purple heather summer eastwards Kinord forest DeesideAberdeenshire Scotland birches is passed after Loch Kinord on the North Deeside Road from Aberdeen westwards to Braemar after the town of Aboyne and before reaching Ballater. This area offers a colourful carpet in late summer and early autumn and one of the attractive features for visitors travelling westwards along the North Deeside Road to Braemar. Off to the right of this viewpoint is Morven Hill and below it a popular visitor attraction at the Burn O’Vat accessed by the Huntly road a few hundred yards on the right. |
