Snow and Sheep UP041218jhp Inverurie Oldmeldrum road winter sheep snow covered fields Donside Aberdeenshire Scotland north of this busy town on the main Aberdeen to Huntly/Inverness road but here on the main route north to Banff and Ellon via Oldmeldrum near Bourtie and is an expanding commuter location for Aberdeen itself with road and railway connections. Snow falls do very greatly across Aberdeenshire but recent years to 2017 have seen notable decreases in snowfalls, their depth and length of time hanging around.
