Caption: | Crathie Kirk Church May Scotland spring morning daffodils colours sunshinecloseup backlit Aberdeenshire located across from the main entrance to Balmoral Castle where it crosses from the North to the South Deeside Road. The Church is on the opposite side of the main road from the public carpark and Tourist Information centre and castle shop, perched on top of a small hill and looks across to its walled cemetery in which there is the burial site of John Brown of Queen Victoria fame. Crathie Church is famous as the Sunday worshipping Church for HM The Queen and various members of the Royal family during their annual holiday at Balmoral Castle and was the Church used by The Princess Royal for her second marriage. |
