It is a village dominated by the distinctive hill with remains of vitrified Pictish fort and also junction for heading westwards to Dufftown crossing the desolate moorland of the Cabrach or heading east to the Knockespoch viewpoint on Suie Hill on the road across to Alford. The main road passing through the village runs between Huntly and Alford. |
