This photo was taken at Whitefield which overlooks the Howe of Mearns on the Inverbervie to Fourdon road which is nearthe northern end of Howe, a central part low lying flat fertile farmland in the centre of an area stretching from the south of Stonehaven to the Tay Estuary.
