Bennachie fm Chapel Garioch qwe1926jhp Scottish Bennachie Hill Mither Tap Chapel road winter Garioch Aberdeenshire in the North East looking at the back of this well known hill with its this distinct outline but here from the Chapel of Garioch road to Monymusk. The distinct outline is created by the remains of a substantial vitrified stone Pictish fort and is visible from large areas of Aberdeenshire which it strategically overlooks and it is held that the Romans fought the Picts at the battle of Mons Graupius in the nearby area.
