 Bennachie Hill summit Mither Tap winter fort remains Picts Garioch road Aberdeenshire Scotland in the North East looking at this distinct outline created by the vitrified remains of a Pictish fort on its main summit with a strategic overview of most of the eastern Aberdeenshire from the North to the South. Here taken from the Chapel of Garioch road to Monymusk near the main visitors centre. Although taken in February it gives the impression of almost spring like colours and sunshine.
