A marked clifftop trail makes the journey between Covesea and Hopetown easier with some spectacular views and plenty of marine birdlife. Along this stretch of the coast is a cave called the Sculptors Cave with Pictish carvings showing the ancient attraction of this coastline reinforced with the importance of nearby Burghead, the site of a major Pictish fort and harbour.
