Quoich Punch Bowl river rocks gorge Deeside Glen Aberdeenshire Scottish pic is located near the Linn of Dee another even more spectacular gorge west of Braemar into Glen Dee which is a popular visiting place because of the dangerous and spectacular nature of the river crashing though this narrow cleft in the granite rocks. A public carpark nearby is ideal parking for walkers heading north into the Cairngorms or westwards past the Chest of Dee into Glen Tilt and on to Blair Atholl. From the Linn it is a slightly longer drive taking the metalled road to its end at the Quoich past the back of Mar Lodge and starting point for walks to Beinn A達huird.
