Luxor Deir al-Madinah Panorama 5121EG07JHP Temple Amun Deir al-Madinah Panorama Workers Village Street Houses Qurnet Murai Hill is located on the West Bank of the River Nile at Luxor lies to the west of Qurnet Murai hill and is the location of a workman's village with the remains of houses, streets and a Ptolemaic Temple and other chapels. The workers are known for their work in the Valley tombs which they reached walking over the Theban plateau. The photograph is ofrom the rock cut tombs of the workers at the northern corner of the site above the village looking towards Qurnet Murai hill and the River Nile beyond.
