This view is of the Ninth Pylon with its southern face showing the slow progress of restoration after the infill from many Atenist temples has been removed, much of which lies around the is area of Karnak waiting for an eventual new home. Beyond the base of the crane is the Eighth Pylon originally built by Hatshepsut while the Ninth and Tenth were both attributed to Horemheb. |
