Caption: | Dendara Temple reliefs ancient Egypt cornice paint Ba bird roofSolar Disc Hathor is located north of Luxor and survives as one of the finest examples of the Late Period and the main buildings visited today date from fourth century BC in to the Roman period. It has a notable rare representation of the famous Cleopatra, some beautiful carvings and is relatively unscathed by the ravages of time, desecration and being dismantled for building materials. This photo is of reliefs on internal walls near the roof with Ba symbol for a spiritual manifestation. |
