Gairn Glen Royal Deeside Coyles Muick Lochnagar Lary Scottsih summer Aberdeenshire which runs to the east of the Gairn, a popular tourist route northwards from Royal Deeside to the Highlands via the Cockbridge, the ski resort at the Lecht summit and heading on to Tomintoul, Granton-on-Spey to Inverness. This view is taken from the slope of Craig of Prony by the Lary road, an attractive single track dead end road to the east of the Gairn and entered after leaving Ballater just before the Bridge of Gairn, in this view looking westwards towards Lochnagar and Upper Deeside over looking the McEwen Gallery.
