Thsi view is taken near Coldhome on the road looking eastwards over Insch that heads and one can cut back to the Pictish Picardy Symbol Stone at Netherton. Picardy Pictish Stone VQ9132JHP Picardy Pictish Symbol Stone Incised Carved Ancient Scottish Pillar Insch Aberdeenshire dates from the 6/7th century AD and stands in a field off minor road to Largie near Insch in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland. A rough whinstone pillar with three finely incised prehistoric Pictish symbols of double disc and Z-rod, coiled serpent and simple mirror. It is apparently in its original position; near a burial and in view of the nearby hill fort of Dunnideer.
