Inverurie River Don Spring Daffodils Coldwells Burnhervie Donside Aberdeenshire Scotland taken from the Burnhervie Road at Coldwells looking westwards on the road past Fetternear either for Kemnay or continuing on to Monymusk crossing the River Don. Although the town is now bypassed for the main route north to Huntly and Inverness it is still the hub for one of the main routes north to Banff and is an expanding commuter location for Aberdeen itself with road and railway connections. This photograph was taken in 2002 the last year I used slide film, either 35mm or 645 as my main medium for landscape photography. It is still representative of the general countryside despite their age and is chosen because of the lovely light and colours as it can still be on the right day.

Autumn fields Burnhervie Road River Don Braeside Aberdeenshire Scotland Donside in the North East with a view from road looking eastwards in the Invuruie direction on the Burnhervie Inverurie Road which travels above the River Don at this point going westwards through to Monymusk via Blairdaff.
