Snow falls do very greatly across Aberdeenshire but recent years to 2017 have seen notable decreases in snowfalls, their depth and length of time hanging around. Sadly a new agricultural barn has been constructed which desecrates the once open rural vista from this site and says little for the quality of planning controls and the care of a countryside so dependent on tourism.
