 Egypt Amarna North Palace Sacred Lake Egyptian Akhenaten Palm Trees Dry Hole Overgrown by River Nile near Egypt Minya city is built round this feature now identified by a few palm trees in its centre. Its use along with the Hall of Foreign Tribute were perhaps part of the living areas for the royal family of Akhetaten and his Queen Nefertiti although little remains now except the foundations and bases of columns.
