Caption: | Luxor Temple Egypt Court Amenhotep Albumen Print Sebah Photograph PeristyleColumns with papyrus-bud capitals, a glorious addition to the temple complex and the finest workmanship from the 18th Dynasty. Once it would have been covered and is still in generally good condition although some recent preservation work has been done because of the increasing water table. Photograph by J.P.Sebah, the Turkish photographer probably around 1890-1900. |
