Caption: | Temple Sethos Seti Goorneh Luxor Ancient Egypt Beato Old PhotoAlbumen Print on the West Bank of the River Nile at Luxor in an area called al-Tarif turning off eastwards instead of taking the Valley of the Kings road. Attributed to Seti it had involvement by Ramasses 1 and 11 and described in the early days as Goorneh Temple. This photo was taken around 1870 by Antonio Beato, a Victorian photographer, for his album entitled The Nile 1872. |
