Karnak fm Khonsu Temple 5018EG07JHP Karnak Temple Eighth Pylon Sun Chapel Roof Khonsu Vista Photograph High View is located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and it the largest religious complex on the Nile. Excellent views of the whole Karnak complex and here the distant Eighth Pylon from the Sun Chapel at Temple of Khonsu, set to the south-west of the Karnak complex and is worth a visit as it is usually free of crowds, is well preserved and is adjacent to a nicely decorated Temple of Opet, a Goddess hippopotamus deity who assisted women in childbearing.
