Caption: | Qasr al-Saghah Vestibule Chambers Empty Ancient Egyptian Temple is asmall late 12th century Egyptian worker’s temple, unfinished and uninscribed near the Gebel el-Qatrani worker’s town servicing the basalt mines to the west of Lake Qarun and accessible only by 4x4 on specialist tours of Egypt. It is constructed of dark brown calciferous sandstone with seven cult shrines facing a common offering table room with the probable front of the temple never finished. |
