 River Don Monymusk Scotland spring ploughed field Bennachie hill view Donside Aberdeenshire in North East Scotland looking westwards and upstream just near the village of Monymusk, on a road to Kemnay, Inverurie via Burnhervie to passing Bennachie to Chapel Garioch crosses the River Don just after the Pitfichie Castle crossroads and is overlooked by the distinctive outline of Bennachie with its summit now the site of a vitrified Pictish fort, a distinctive outline clearly viewed from many parts of Aberdeenshire.
