Caption: | River Don June trees overgrown blocking view Tilliehashlach Donside Aberdeenshirein North East Scotland looking downstream eastwards by the Paradise Woods at the entrance to Tilliehashlach on summer morning, although noticeably this view is getting very restricted by the maturing tree growth. Bennachie Hill, the site of a vitrified Pictish fort is behind the viewer with its distinct outline clearly viewed from many parts of Aberdeenshire. This road coming from Keig to the west through the Lord’s Throat runs down the south side of Bennachie, passes a Forestry Enterprise carpark at Donview with public walks in the Paradise Woods and eventually joins the Monymusk to Chapel of Garioch road near the road bridge after passing this viewpoint. |
