Mearns Farmland bnm2981jhp Aberdeenshire Scotland Mearns rape seed field sea coast spring May Brackenrigg St Cyrus on the coastal side of the Howe of Mearns which is a central part of low lying flat fertile farmland in the centre of an area stretching from the south of Stonehaven to the Tay Estuary. Once you head North West over the various Angus Glens or over the Cairn O’Mount from Fettercairn you go into hill farming, moorland or forested estates onto Deeside and eventually reach the Highlands.
