Turriff The Haughs vbn1072jhp Turriff Town Haughs park boating pond autumn Banff Buchan Aberdeenshire Scotland is a park area the site of the annual Turriff Show, located on the southern approach, by the entrance to the swimming pool, for this ancient town mentioned in the 6th century with Pictish connections, with a later church built by the Knights Templar, as a main centre for the Covenanter Rebellion in 1639 and more recently conflict with Lloyd George’s National Health Insurance Scheme in 1913 and the creation of the Turra Coo.
