| Caption: | Peterculter Culter displays summer North Deeside Road Aberdeenshire Scottish bridgelocated just off A93 North Deeside Road on Malcolm Road in Peterculter within the boundaries of the City of Aberdeen. The track of the old Deeside Railway line from Aberdeen to Ballater, cut in the Beeching days, but is now part of the Deeside Way a public walk way which is nearly complete from the City to Ballater. Below this viewpoint heading west over a bridge is the famous statue of Rob Roy who is supposed to have leapt the Culter Burn from its rocky gorge cliffs. The floral displays are part of the extensive colourful displays that have won the City another Best of Britain Award in 2014. |
