MacDuff & Anchor fgh5195jhp Macduff town centre skyline autumn Aberdeenshire anchor sun viewpoint brae is a seaport adjacent to Banff and divided by the River Deveron and remains a busy fishing harbour supporting its own trawler fleet with fishmarket and its excellent facilities expanding for the watersport and pleasure sailing industry. It is viewed here from Station Brae with a possible 18th Century sailing ship anchor and a cross erected in 1783 to mark the creation of Macduff as a Burgh here looking towards the town centre and harbour of MacDuff.
