Downstream is the 15th century tower house of Kinnairdy Castle, latterly home of the Gregory family who produced twelve university professors. One of Aberdeenshire’s famous salmon fishing rivers, rising on the slopes of The Buck in the Cabrach and flowing into the Moray Firth at Banff.
