Caption: | Dendara Temple carved Hathor reliefs New Year Chapel ancient Egypt,north of Luxor survives as one of the finest examples of the Late Period and the main buildings visited today date from fourth century BC in to the Roman period. It has a notable rare representation of the famous Cleopatra, some beautiful carvings and is relatively unscathed by the ravages of time, desecration and being dismantled for building materials. This photo is a small Chapel for celebrating the New Year is reached from the Second Vestible and is partly open air. |
